Bear Lake and Flaming Gorge 09"

Hi Everyone,
Sorry it has been so long since I have posted we have had such a fun summer!
First we went with the family to Bear lake, then we went to flaming gorge with Mike, Donna & Warrens and Holli's family. We followed that up with a trip back to the gorge with our friends the Jordan's. All of the pictures are below needless to say we have had a great time! The kids just started back to school and I am so happy, Lexi is in 4th grade and Rex is in 2nd and they both love their teachers, I will try to keep more current but until next time enjoy the pictures and have a great month....

4th of July

Hi Everyone,
We hope that everyone had a great 4Th of July it is such a great time to remember all of the people that have done so much for our country and we want to thank all of the military that have made so many things possible for all of us, we salute you. We had such a great holiday we were able to go swimming and have fun with our friends, Ernie also was able to play with fireworks we loved it. We will be going to Bear lake this week for a family reunion and are looking forward to it. Ernie will also be turning 34 on the 23 of July we wish him a great birthday and will put new pictures on then.

PARTY TIME!!!!

Hi Everyone,
We just celebrated Rex's 7th Birthday on the 19th of June, We had so much fun we were able to have a water fight and play. We also just got back from Vernal and had so much fun also Ernie shot his first ever 100 straight we are so proud of him! We are looking forward to a great summer where we hope to do a lot of camping and playing below are some pictures from Rex's birthday enjoy, we would also like to wish all of the Fathers out thier a Happy Fathers day and to let all of you know that we all appreciate all that you do for your familys!! Summer!!!!

Hi Everyone,
It has been a great start to summer for our family, as you know we are doing a family garden
it is growing great we already have radishes and the potatos and corn are doing well also. The kids will get out of school on friday the 5th and can not wait ( Mom can!!!), We have planed to go camping a lot this year and we just bought a new travel trailer. We also are excited to be going to vernal for a shoot this next week so keep you fingers crossed that Ernie and I shoot good. Lexi and Rex have also been doing great in Baseball and Tae-Kwan-Do, they bolth want to take swim lessons again this year with everythin going on we will have to see if we can find a free night. Spring!!!

Hi Everyone,
We have had such a fun spring, since I talked to you last we have done so much we have been working on planting a family garden and everyone got involved so far we are planting potato's I never realized where the seeds come from, their is a slide show below to show you. We also went to the zoo it is one of our family's favorite things to do their are also some fun pictures of it below. For those of you that have not herd Rex fell off the monkey bars at school and broke his tail bone in three places he is doing better now and is even back at school, however he has to carry a pillow around to sit on. Egg Hunt 2009

Hi Everyone,
We hope that everyone had a great Easter, we had so much fun below I have pictures from the different egg hunts that we went to also some of the family playing volleyball,we made cup cakes and dyed eggs it seemed to be a busy week we had a wedding to go to a shoot, all of the family from California here witch we loved as well as Easter and spring break, luckily we all survived! This week we will be starting baseball and the kids can hardly wait so enjoy the pictures and we will wright again soon.

Well I hope that everyone had a great St. Patrick's day, and did not get pinched too much. We have been busy I am in charge of the West Bountiful Tee ball league, it has been crazy also Lexi and Rex both play and can hardly wait to start. They have been doing great and are so excited they will be testing for their yellow belts soon and love going to class, so all in all we have been busy every night! Disney on Ice

Hi everyone,
It has been a while since I have wrote, we have done so much lately the kids and I just went to the Disney on Ice and had so much fun, There are some fun photo's below. I have had pink eye and am doing better now luckily my kids and husband never got it, we have also been able to go shooting with our friends and had so much fun watching them learn to shoot! we will right again soon so until then have a great st Patrick's day and we will talk to you soon.

A good week!

Hi everyone

We have had a great week the kids are doing great at tae-kwan do and cant wait to go each week, we have also been lucky to meet up with some old friends and have had a blast we were able to go trapshooting with them, on another note my mother had a heart attack and a stroke but she is doing great now and they beleive that she will make a full recovery. I on the other hand have got into one of my moods and cut off all of my hair and now have it short I also thought that my cat would look great as a lion so I cut her hair too she loved it and thought that I was brushing her, so all and all this week has turned out good we hope that you have a good week and will talk to you soon.

Happy Valentines Day!

Hi Everyone,
We had a great week, Ernie had his surgery and is doing great and hopefully this will help him to feel better. I had my Birthday on Friday the 13th and it was great we had so much fun, we sang karaoke, it was kind of scary hearing all of us sing but we had a blast the kids even got involved, we also had a Mexican pot luck and had so much food, we finished of the night with a cake that I made with chocolate dipped strawberries, I feel so lucky to have such good friends! Vegas 2009

Hi Everyone

Well we hope that everyone had a great week, as for us we were able to go to the concrete convention in Las Vegas and we had a blast! We saw a lot of cool stuff and did some fun things their are some pictures below for you to see, when we came back we went shooting and had so much fun it has been a great week. Donna's Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DONNA!
Hi everyone we hope you had a great weekend, this last Saturday was Donna's birthday we hope she had a great day. We like millions of other people watched the super bowl and thought it was a good game however we were disappointed in the commercials, to us the best one was the horse fetching. Ernie and I along with Holli and warren will be going to Vegas on Wensday and can hardly wait (good luck Donna and Mike) we are very lucky to have grandparents that will babysit!
Today is ground hogs day, I am hoping that spring will come soon, so until next time.

Ice Skating & Bowling

Hi Everyone
We hope that everyone has had a great week, ours has been busy on Saturday we were able to go as a family Ice skating, Rex loved it and was really good same with Ernie, Lexi did good too, I did not do as good and soon found out that I could not Ice skate! Rex lapped me. Later that night Ernie and I were able to go bowling with some friends and had so much fun, the girls kicked the boy's butts it was great and we can not wait to do it again. I want to remind everyone that it is Donna Youngberg's Birthday on Saturday, I will get some pictures for everyone also enjoy the super bowl and have a great week until next time.

Our New President!

This year has been very interesting I am trying to teach my children about the historical event that will take place tomorrow 01/20/2009 when we as Americans will get a new president, they are learning about it a lot in school and are very interested. I as a parent am not sure what to tell them with the economy the way it is it could be good or bad, they ask me if it matters that our president is black I have told them that is does not matter what color you are and that it is one of the reasons why it is historical, we as a family will be watching the inauguration on TV tomorrow and will remember that we watched history happen. We just celebrated Lexi's 9th birthday I can not believe how fast it has gone by it seems like she was just born, she had such a great birthday, we had a party at Donna's and Mike's and one with her friends, I don't know if I will do that again we sent out 9 invitations and had 26 kids show up I was the only adult for more than 1/2 the party, my friend kody came to help and shortly after Ernie got home needless to say it was a mad house, but she had a great day you can see her party in the pictures below we made pizza'a and had bingo games and luckley at the end played telephone I think that was as quiet as it got. Happy New Year's
We Have been so busy, Today is Lexi's Birthday I can not believe that she is 9 it has gone by too fast! We had so much fun on New Years, we had Barbra and Boyd came to Utah along with Jamie and her fiance and her kids, we all went to Donna and Mikes house and had a party we were also able to go sledding and everyone had a blast. Ernie and I were also able to take the kids to zoo lights and loved it, so until next time enjoy the pictures and we will soon put some on of lexis birthday, and Happy new years 2009
